Michelle (aka Dalai) and I (aka Dolly) met approximately 20 (-/+) years ago at our mutual friend Kristi’s home. Michelle was/is Kristi’s bestie and Kristi and I were co-workers. Upon entering Kristi’s family room, Michelle looked at me and thought, “who invited Barbie”? I looked at Michelle and thought, “how on earth does Kristi think Michelle and I have anything in common, she is an “a la natural-granola bar”. LOL! Despite our many differences at that time, it has become clear we actually DO have a lot in common. We were sitting in a bar drinking martini’s (of course) and sharing the story of how we met to one of Michelle’s clients. She all the sudden say’s, “I’m looking at you two and she (me) is Dolly as in Dolly Parton, and you (Michelle) are Dalai as in Dahlia Llama. Michelle and I looked each other and said, “that is the name of our Podcast”, it was perfect!!
